As the former CEO and Chairman of Rosetta Stone, John oversaw the team that led the growth and modernization of Lexia Learning, transforming it from a niche provider into the leader in K-12 literacy software in the United States. With over three decades of experience spanning Wall Street, to start-ups to high-growth EdTech, John ensures that our business has the structure, support and guidance to achieve its profoundly important mission. John began his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he worked for eighteen years advising companies on their most important strategic challenges and opportunities. In 2006, John joined PEAK6 to become the Co-CEO and then CEO of OptionsHouse, a start-up in the online brokerage space that was ultimately acquired by E*TRADE. John became CEO of the public company Rosetta Stone in 2015 where he helped stabilize the language division and aggressively expand the K-12 literacy business Lexia Learning until the company was sold in 2020. John serves on the boards of a number of for-profit and non-profit organizations.

Has spent over three decades bridging the gap between cutting-edge literacy research and actual classroom practice. As a leading voice in the Science of Reading movement, Liz has guided national education companies through complex curriculum and assessment transformations and developed state-level assessments and MTSS plans. Her work focuses on the connection of oral and written language and equipping school leaders with the macro-level data and structural frameworks required to sustain district-wide literacy growth. Liz began her 30-year career as a first-grade teacher and school speech-language pathologist (SLP), later serving as Director of Interventions at the Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR) while earning her PhD at Florida State University. Liz served as an SLP at Massachusetts General Hospital in their Learning Disability Unit. Most recently, Liz spent 15 years as Chief Learning Officer at Lexia and Rosetta Stone. An award-winning communicator and host of the All for Literacy podcast, she is an accomplished author of scholarly journals, book chapters, and state-level assessments who advocates for literacy as a fundamental civil right. Today, Liz helps districts blend the science of reading with implementation science to build sustainable systems for student success.

Is a premier research authority on how children learn to read and communicate and on how research makes it into everyday school practice. Her work directly influences how educators identify and support students struggling with word reading and language comprehension. Tiffany brings unmatched academic rigor to the team, ensuring that every piece of guidance we provide is firmly rooted in peer-reviewed science and proven clinical methodologies. Tiffany was a certified speech-language pathologist before earning a PhD at the University of Kansas. She began her career at the University of Arizona and continued at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln before becoming a Professor at the MGH Institute of Health Professions and a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School. She has had over 20 years of federally funded research, over 125 peer reviewed publications, and recently established the Center for Translational Research: Implementation Science and Dissemination (cTIDE). She is a Fellow of the American Speech Language Hearing Association and the Research Institute for Implementation Science in Education as well as a previously elected board member of the Society for the Scientific Studies of Reading.

With a deep background in advanced data modeling, signal processing, and enterprise-grade software engineering, Calvin specializes in building secure digital spaces that process complex district diagnostics smoothly and beautifully. His technical vision ensures our platform remains entirely objective, lightning-fast, and deeply useful for both educators and administrators on the ground. Calvin began his career researching the neurologic and cognitive basis of language acquisition and decision making. After moving into industry, he worked across a range of fields to translate basic research in neuroscience, psychology, and other sciences into practice using machine learning and AI. He has consulted for or led engineering teams at prominent companies, universities, and startups, including SoftBank-funded Embark Veterinary, MIT/AFFOA, Boston University, MGH, Nike, and Ahold Delhaize.

His vision ensures that our platform's AI functions strictly as an objective, highly precise diagnostic engine, shielded from vendor bias and optimized exclusively for complex, district-wide system evaluation.
